Visitors never need the Hodi app—only their camera and browser. Here is the flow from the gate side once the plate is on the door.
Download the Hodi app on your phone
Install from the App Store or Google Play and sign in with your mobile number. That is your control centre for video calls, household access, and plate settings.

Open your phone camera and point it at the Hodi plate by the gate or entrance. You do not need to install an app or type a web address.

Activate your QR door plate
Follow the in-app steps to link your Hodi plate to your home or unit. Once it is paired, anyone who scans your code can reach you through a secure live video session.

Open the link in your browser
Use the prompt from your camera app or tap the short link on screen. A secure page loads so you can start a live video or audio session with the resident.
